Official representatives of company Audi have declared, that the serial version hybrid concept Q7, presented two years ago, will appear on car markets in the end of 2008. The hybrid power-plant developed by the company consists of advanced petrol 3,6-liter motor FSI capacity 280 h.p. and the electric motor about nickel-metal gybryd the accumulator providing additional 51 h.p. Time of dispersal of the car up to 100 km/h makes 8,5 seconds.
But the main advantage of a hybrid that consumption of fuel and emissions of harmful substances in an atmosphere at it approximately on 23 % is less, than at Q7, equipped by the petrol engine. When the car moves without pressing a pedal of an accelerator, and also at a stop more than for 3 seconds the basic engine is disconnected. Thus again to get under way from a place, it is enough to press a pedal only.
